Fish house cafe is amazing! My friend and I went and placed a big order over $70 worth. AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! EVERYTHING was delicious we got the catfish platters (it comes with 5 pieces of fish! And it's real catfish) with fried okra, onion rings, and my friend got fried okra and coleslaw, and we got an appetizer of shrimp. We also got a piece of pound cake, banana pudding, two drinks and everything was delicious. The fish was crispy so were the shrimp and onion rings and the fried okra, everything. I will definitely be back again and honestly, I would've went back a day after, but unfortunately, they were closed. The place is small but mighty we got our food and sat in our car and ate because we had about a 30 minute drive home and I was not willing to let my food get cold but when I went back to have a little bit later, it was still crispy. How delicious, definitely check it out. You guys won't be disappointed.

So good! I visited for my first time today and can't wait to go back. It's a small restaurant but really has such a nice community feel to it. I got the fish n chips. Okra, zucchini, and hush puppies. Loved it all!

this is a very small hole in the wall Café with no seating. We had the fish and chips and it was fantastic. We ordered an extra tartar sauce from reading the reviews and we were glad we did. The service was fast and friendly and we will be back!

This is the real thing. Hope to find street parking, get in line inside this small shop and carry out delicious fish, etc. It's a neighborhood place, not fancy.

The best fried okra I've ever had! Also delicious hush puppies. I had the fish sando but after a few bites I realized it was catfish and catfish does not need a bun. It was really good though. The service is so friendly and helpful and we got our food quickly. I love the vibe in the restaurant and couldn't help sway to the music a bit.

Good fish and chips, (and crinkle fries) Comes with one tartar sauce, you might want to buy one more. Nice people working there AND parking right in front.. I want to try the fish sandwich next time. No real seating area, but a stand up "bar" like thing outside if the weather is nice.

Let's start with the ambiance. I love the look of the place. Maybe shabby chic? They have materials promoting their community and it's all down to earth. The music is unapologetically classic hip hop and R&B. Service is spot on. They know many customers by name. You can't go 5 minutes without a friend popping in to say hi and grab a bag of food. If you aren't smiling by the time you have your food you aren't doing it right. The food is as amazing as the people who stop in to say hi. The PNW has a standard for good seafood, but beer batter can get pretty boring. The fish house has the crispiest and most flavorful cornbread breading I've tasted this side of the Mississippi River. If you want to taste real soul flavors and get a Coke and a smile this should be your first stop. . You can feed 2 people a decent box of food for about $22. Chicken? Oh yes. Shrimp? Yes please. Fish? Can't be beat. Can't choose? Get an #18 and you will be alright. Don't forget the extra tartar sauce.

Used to work right across the street from here and we would eat here often. They know their catfish! Shrimp is good too. A lil pricey but if ur on a budget, the fish sando is a great choice. I usually get fish, shrimp and zucchini fries in place of regular fries. Love it! Tiny place, friendly staff-- usually standing room only. Can't wait to go back as I no longer work near there and I miss my fish lunches!
